Litho iPhone

Tim Brown emailed this photo to me tonight. He’s replaced his default iPhone icons with Litho System icons. He even made a custom background for the dock at the bottom of the screen. Nice job Tim, and thanks again for sharing the photo!

For those wondering how to do this, Tim also sent me a link to a guide for skinning your iPhone. It should go with out saying that if you use that link to modify your iPhone, you do so at your own risk, blah blah blah, etc.

Could you ask Tim Brown if he would mind sharing his custom dock, it would match well with my icon set as well.

    It looks great, real spiffy.

I feel like a bit of an idiot, but how exactly does one get the downloaded Litho folders to become .png images?

  6. Anthony Says:

Mark: One of the easiest ways would be to use Pixadex. Drag the original icons in, then export them as PNG files.

Thanks. Where did the phone and the weather icons come from? I can’t find them from within the Litho icon sets. Also I agree with Stephen above, if Tim could give us that dock, that would be amazing. Thanks!

Also I wonder if Tim might lend out the exact .png file he used for the calendar app? It looks like he did a bit of editing to get it just right.

  9. Anthony Says:

Mark: The phone and weather icons were custom ones that Tim worked up himself, so you’re right - they’re not in the existing Litho sets. However, I’ll be creating some official versions for those icons (and a reworked calendar) to include in my next Litho release at the Iconfactory.
