Based on a true story, this icon set takes the form of a collection of four haiku poems, chronicling a day in January 2001 when I was snowed in at home by a small winter storm. It also happened to be the day that my heater decided to stop working.
Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry consisting of three unrhymed lines. The lines have five, seven, and five syllables respectively. I have created an icon to illustrate each line of the four poems. My apologies in advance to any dedicated haiku lovers — my poetry is certainly not the best, but I hope the reader will grant me some leeway in the spirit of the story.
