This icon set is based on my experiences as a volunteer on a Habitat for Humanity trip to Guatemala in July of 1999. A total of 14 of us worked in the town of San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala to begin construction on three separate homes. Working alongside of the people who would eventually live in the homes, we cleared land, hauled dirt and rocks down hillsides in burlap sacks, and cut concrete blocks. We made many friends with those who live in San Lucas and were able to experience how loving and generous the people of Guatemala can be.
