Farmer Dan’s Barnyard was my very first icon set, created way back in 1998 when men were men, Macs were Macs (except for when they weren’t), and 32 pixels x 32 pixels was more than enough space for an icon. I entered Farmer Dan in The Iconfactory’s 1999 Pixelpalooza contest. I didn’t win, but I did score a free t-shirt. Oh, and they hired me a few years later. That was pretty cool.
These icons are old school OS 8 icons, so they aren’t that great for desktop use anymore, but they do make wonderful iChat avatars.
