3D rendering in Carrara
Mousetrap is a 3D rendering that I did for version 3.0 of One-Button Mouse – a version of the site which never saw the light of day. I spent too long working on it, and eventually grew tired of the design before it even went live. It was just as well – I started it before I was familiar with blogging, and the entire site was based around old-fashioned, static pages (So early 21st century…).
The trap itself was fun to work on. As a small child, for some reason I was fascinated with mousetraps – possibly from a steady diet of Tom and Jerry and Speedy Gonzales cartoons.
Funky Flatpanel is a companion rendering that also was done for the ill-fated redesign.
